People can also go to their resident addresses of district offices, city offices, and township offices to read the poll book, and if people found any mistake, they can apply for a modification to protect their rights.
According to the regulations, people in Taiwan who have the right to vote have to be at least 20 years old and are not under guardianship. Also, they have to live in the nation for more than 6 months to vote for the presidential election and live in their constituencies for more than 4 months for the legislative election.
Local household registration authorities will use people's household registration information 20 days before the election day as the base date to compile the poll book that will be announced for 3 days at electors' resident addresses of local offices.
The poll book's base date for the presidential and vice-presidential election and the legislative election will be on the 22nd of December. After the poll book's base date, the poll book will be announced for 3 days from December 24-26 at electors' resident addresses of local offices.
The Ministry of the Interior reminded that some people that haven't lived at their resident addresses for the long-term might not receive the notification for voting, so they're not familiar with polling stations.
