Taiwan Immigrants' Global News Network-Four significant display areas and five-story flower castle featured in 2023 Taichung International Flower Carpet Festival

The biggest flower festival in Taiwan, the 2023 Taichung International Flower Carpet Festival, opened in Xinshe District of Taichung City on November 11 and runs until December 3. Four significant display areas, totaling over 200,000 flowers and plants, have been prepared by the organizer. The five-story "Floating Flower Castle" is the focal point of the display space among them. Additionally, the sale of agricultural products is combined with the event location. Not only may one enjoy the beauty of flowers, but one can purchase regional farm goods.

According to the Taichung Tourism and Travel Bureau, it has four imaginative theme exhibition areas planned for this year. Each exhibition area's tale topic relates to the local development process in Xinshe.

Additionally, a significant inflow of tourists would undoubtedly result in traffic congestion because the roads in Xinshe District are very small. The Taichung City Government thus urges the public to park in the lots around the exhibition area and then take the complimentary shuttle bus to get to the exhibition area.
