The Public Health Bureau, Tainan City Government will hold “The Reproductive Health Interpreter Training for New resident” on August 19-26, 2019
According to the official website of the Tainan City Government, this training recruits new residents who have the enthusiasm for service and have completed the marriage registration and live in Taiwan with the ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing in Chinese/Vietnamese, Chinese/Indonesian, Chinese/Thai and Chinese/Cambodian language.
The training course has total 32 hours, if the training scores reach 80 points or more, you can become a reproductive health interpreter in the health clinics of various districts in Tainan City.
The reproductive health interpreters will assist in the communication bridge between public health nurses and new residents. For example, children clinics and vaccinations, management of family visits for new residents' spouses, assistance in translating health management related information, assistance in detecting abnormalities and referral to medical treatment, assisting in interpretation of Health center activities and assisting new resident spouse to do health questionnaire and information communication.
