Every new resident sister from different country has their own exclusive stories. Penghu County Government, in order to expand the cultural horizons for the people in Penghu handled the lectures about the new residents’ stories, and about 40 participants enrolled enthusiastically.
The Social Affairs said the lecture seminar invited the National Education Radio Station host, Ji Mindan (季旻擔) as a moderator: with the speakers new resident Ma Yulan (馬玉蘭) and Ke Yuxin (柯玉心), shared about the different experiences of living culture in the home country and in Penghu, understand the process of adaptation and reconciliation of the new residents’ culture. The stories made the participants laugh, touched, and let them felt the emotions when they are missing the hometown, all kinds of the emotional misunderstanding that happen because of the differences, let the audiences and all the participants feel that are a lot of things have its own meaning that perhaps still unfinished to explain.
The New Residents Family Service Center said that it thankful for the public participants who joined this lecture seminar, made the atmosphere of the event full of fun and warm. This lecture seminar received warm response and completely success. The service center announced that there will be another sharing seminar this year, invite the new resident sisters to share their hometown cultural experiences.
