In addition to holding a railway culture festival and connecting six towns and cities along the railway, the mayor of Pingtung County (周春米) stated that this is the first time the county has linked railway and art experiences. The Minister of MOTC (王國材) also mentioned how the Chaozhou Railway Park is large and excellent for entertaining families. As a result, in order to integrate railroad maintenance, local history, and cultural significance, the Taiwan Railways Administration will be requested to relocate the best carriages and amenities to the park, making it the primary tourist destination in Pingtung.
