Recently, Tainan University held a creative and practical maker workshop, co-organized by the Southern Maker Base and the Tainan University Innovation Incubation Center, which attracted many enthusiastic participants. The event was divided into morning and afternoon sessions, focusing on "Miniature Clay Models" and "Mugwort Handmade Soap" respectively, allowing participants to explore their creative potential through hands-on activities.

In the "Miniature Clay Models" workshop, the instructor first introduced the characteristics and uses of different types of clay. Participants then got to work, creating delicate miniature clay models under the instructor's guidance, experiencing the joy and sense of accomplishment that comes from creation.

In the "Mugwort Handmade Soap" workshop, the instructor explained the basic materials and background knowledge of soap making and then guided participants to design unique handmade soaps based on their preferences. These simple and easy-to-follow DIY courses not only allowed participants to enjoy the fun of crafting but also opened the door to exploring related skills.Miniature clay models made by students at the NCKU Innovators Workshop. Lin Pei-Chi, Director of the Innovation Incubation Center at Tainan University, stated that these workshops encourage participants to explore creativity and learning during the summer vacation actively. The center hopes that through such activities, participants can enjoy rich experiences and learn practical skills that they can apply at home. The Innovation Incubation Center regularly organizes various maker workshops and innovative, creative courses, providing a range of resources needed for student entrepreneurship. They welcome collaboration with all sectors to create a unique industry-academia exchange platform in Tainan.

This maker workshop allowed participants to learn through practice, not only inspiring their creativity but also letting them enjoy the endless fun of crafting. We look forward to more such activities in the future, enabling more people to participate and discover their creative potential.
