Hsinchu City mayor Lin Chih-chien (林智堅) announced the “Hsinchu City Screening Project” where factory screening services will be provided for migrant workers. This is in cooperation with the Hsinchu City Medical Association. Companies also have the option to visit existing "screening stations" for checkups.

The "Hsinchu City Screening Project" invites various factory migrant workers to apply for screening tests. The Hsinchu City Medical Association will be accepting appointments from employers and employees regardless of which cities and counties they come from. The "Hsinchu City Screening Project" will serve as a way to ensure the safety and welfare of migrant workers during the Covid-19 epidemic.

Hsinchu City has also opened vaccination applications for the elderly since June and implements 3 major steps for the process. The steps include pre-booking, on-site verification, and retrieving vaccination certificates. The AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccine doses donated by Japan are one of Taiwan's best tools in fighting against the epidemic.  Public servants must take action for the people of Taiwan.
