The National Tainan Living Art Center has launched the "New Generation Art Lab" project this year, introducing a series of "Youth Contemporary Art Experience" workshops. This initiative brings together renowned artists such as painter Tsai Tsung-You, kinetic art artist Hsiao Sheng-Chien, metalwork artist Kang Li-Ying, and performance artist Yeh Tzu-Chi, creating a platform for teenagers to engage with contemporary art. The second "Contemporary Painting" workshop is now open for registration, inviting young people to experience the unique charm of contemporary painting.

Director Huang Chiung-Ying of the National Tainan Living Art Center noted that this series aims to provide opportunities for teenagers to explore contemporary art creation and stimulate their creative potential. From September to November, every weekend will feature a different contemporary art experience, including painting, performance art, kinetic art, and metalwork. These workshops are led by experienced and creative artists who will guide the participants to break away from conventional thinking and delve into the endless possibilities of contemporary art.

The "Contemporary Painting – Youth Contemporary Art Experience Workshop" will be led by the award-winning painter Tsai Tsung-You. Mr. Tsai emphasizes that contemporary painting should not be limited to traditional realistic techniques, but should instead start from self-observation, transforming daily perceptions and life experiences through a unique perspective to create works with personal characteristics. He will guide participants in using innovative subjects and techniques, helping them find their own artistic language through the creative process.Painter Tsai Tsung-You has served as an artist-in-residence both domestically and internationally. The "Youth Contemporary Art Experience" series aims to fulfill the Ministry of Culture's policy of promoting cultural accessibility, allowing more teenagers to personally experience the joy of artistic creation. The "Contemporary Painting – Youth Contemporary Art Experience Workshop" is open to teenagers aged 16 and above. Registration is online and spaces are limited. Participants who complete the workshop will also receive study hours.Workshop instructor Tsai Tsung-You's paintings transform everyday perceptions and life experiences through a unique perspective, guiding the workshop participants.
