The Ministry of Education Taiwan Scholarship and Huayu Enrichment Scholarship certificates were presented to 120 students at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in India, making it the nation with the most Taiwan Scholarships. This event also served as the pre-departure briefing for the 2023 Taiwan Scholarship and Huayu Enrichment Scholarship. Additionally, it is believed that by giving out this prize, more students would be inspired to promote Indian and Taiwanese culture and act as cultural ambassadors for the two nations.

The Republic of China (R.O.C)'s ambassador to India said that 3,029 Indian students studied in Taiwan in 2017—a rise of 31.6% from 2021—making India the nation with the greatest growth rate in students studying there following the outbreak.
