Nantou County is set to host a grand indigenous cultural event, the 2024 "Indigenous Feast," at the Mingjian Township Eco-Park Family Park. This event not only celebrates the 30th anniversary of the official recognition of the indigenous peoples but also serves as an excellent opportunity to showcase traditional indigenous culture to the entire nation.

One of the highlights of the event is the "First Nantou Hunter Cup: National Indigenous Traditional Archery Invitational," which will begin at 7:00 AM and continue until 4:30 PM. This competition will gather top archery experts from across the country, allowing the audience to witness the superb skills of the indigenous people up close.

In addition to the archery competition, the event will feature a "Thousand-Person Roasted Pig Party," running from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Participants will have the opportunity to taste delicious roasted pig for free and enjoy refreshing lemon slushies. There will also be an archery experience area where the public can personally enjoy the fun of archery.

Ba-Bu Paradise has specially prepared indigenous costume experiences and a unique indigenous-themed photo booth for this event, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in indigenous culture. Additionally, there will be other traditional delicacies such as roasted pig, ensuring that attendees have a memorable experience.Full Event Schedule. (Image / Courtesy of Nantou County Government)
