This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Taichung Jazz Festival, which will be grandly held at Civic Square from October 11 to 20. With the theme "Female Jazz Power," the festival has invited bands from 12 countries and regions to deliver 22 exciting performances, showcasing diverse musical styles. The event will focus on female musicians, highlighting their unique charm in jazz and offering the audience a fresh experience of jazz music.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary, the Taichung City Government Cultural Affairs Bureau has specially invited the Japanese jazz band JABBERLOOP to present the "Jazz 20th Anniversary Limited Concert" at the National Taichung Theater on October 20, leading the audience to appreciate jazz music that blends Eastern and Western cultures. During the festival, various exclusive collaborations between Taiwanese and international musicians have also been planned, allowing the audience to immerse themselves in a multicultural jazz music world.
