In response to Earth Day, New Taipei City launched eight free green tourism routes

Environmental Protection Department, New Taipei City Government organizes the event of 2023 New Taipei City Environmental Season (2023 新北環境季—全民出任務i綠行動) from April 22 to June 11 in honor of Earth Day, and in conjunction with Yun Hsien Resort, Shihsanhang Museum, and other environmental education facilities, they launched eight green tourist experience groups, which are free of charge for the general public.

According to the Environmental Protection Department, individuals who take part in any activity during the New Taipei City Environmental Season this year and follow the prescribed procedures to complete check-in or sharing will have the chance to win a variety of prizes, including coupons for hotel accommodations, passes to venues for environmental education, coupons for grocery store pick-up, green points for environmental protection, etc.

Additionally, the Environmental Protection Department has worked with tour companies to create eight eco-friendly itineraries with various routes to experience the local culture, DIY, and natural ecology in New Taipei City.
