In addition to computer courses, the Taichung City Government is actively thinking about how to allow citizens to enjoy multiple municipal services conveniently. Therefore, this year the "e-Taichung" digital citizen platform was launched. Members can obtain a digital citizen virtual card, which can be used to borrow books, enjoy discounts at participating stores, even includes news subscriptions, book reservation/overdue reminder, queries on life information, reminder for unpaid parking fees of their registered vehicle number and making mobile payments, etc. The people can enjoy a more convenient life with “e-Taichung” at the same time while doing digital learning.
