According to The Straits Times, Singapore has been awarded the most Instagrammable city in the world for 2022, according to Big 7 Travel, a travel publication (Jan 18).
It stated the city-state is rich of photo opportunities "from the renowned Supertree Grove at Gardens by the Bay to the vivid kaleidoscope of street art via Haji Lane in an article about its annual hashtag tally, which is in its fourth year.
"As one of Asia's art hubs, there's nearly always a unique show going on perfect for that 'wow' photos," it added.

The winners were chosen using a scoring system that looked at the number of hashtags per destination, sample survey results from the publication's 1.5 million audience, and editorial input from around the world.
The destinations were ranked according to their visual appeal and social media popularity. There was a total of 50 destinations on the list. Boracay, Philippines, finished in second, followed by Oahu, Hawaii, in third.

Paris, Istanbul, Turkey, and Dublin, Ireland were among the other cities on the list.
Big 7 Travel recommended that visitors visiting Singapore take a trip down Koon Seng Road in the Joo Chiat neighborhood, which is famed for its colorful buildings, and visit the former House of Tan Teng Niah for magnificent images.
