  • The nationwide level 2 alert is extended again with eased restrictions

The CECC announced that the nationwide level 2 alert was extended to September 6. Dining partitions do not apply within one family or a common party. 80 people and 300 people can gather indoors and outdoors respectively.   • Entry of meat products is controlled to prevent the African swine fever

African swine fever meat products were seized for the first time in Taiwan. The National Immigration Agency continues to strengthen prevention measures among migrant workers and new immigrants. It is forbidden to bring meat products to Taiwan as well as ordering through the internet. The highest fine for a one-time violation is NTD1 million.

  • Migrant workers comply with epidemic prevention measures in the ASEAN Square in Taichung

The Taichung Labor Affairs Bureau continues to promote Taiwan's epidemic prevention policies to migrant workers. Staff and personnel visited the ASEAN Square to promote epidemic prevention and safety. Multilingual posters and information were provided to migrant workers and new immigrants.   • Driver's license exams are open for new immigrants with multilingual services

The Tainan Motor Vehicles Office will be open for motorcycle license exams for office workers and students on holidays during office hours. There will be a dedicated team to provide translation services for new immigrants. On-site registration is not accepted, only online appointments are accepted.
