TMUST holds campus talent recruitment and services for foreign students in Taiwan

In recent years, several universities are actively launching and promoting special New Southbound classes. Department of Accounting Information, and Department of Marketing Management of Takming University of Science and Technology (TMUST) offer special New Southbound classes. A forum on campus talent recruitment for foreign fresh graduates was jointly held.

The participating companies are renowned international businesses from Finance, technology, and conventional industries. The teaching staff who joined the event include Professor Gao Li Zhen (高立箴) – the dean of College of Finance, Professor You Hui Yu (游惠玉) – director of Department of Accounting Information, Professor Hong Shi Jie (洪世杰) and Professor Lin Cai hui (林彩蕙), the hosts of the special New Southbound classes of the Ministry of Education. For foreign students participating in the event, there were about 60 students and most of them are from Vietnam.

Professor Hong emphasized in his speech that admissions of the TMUST’s special classes have been open for foreign nationals for many years. It is hoped that there will be more exchanges between the university and businesses and achieves a win-win situation. During the event, teaching staff and students are free to ask questions and fun quizzes were conducted before interviews were arranged.

The university’s special classes have an outstanding reputation, and the professionals nurtured here are well-liked among enterprises. The university’s performance has also been recognized by the Ministry of Education.
