According to the New Taipei City Government’s Education Department, the reading scripts and songs for this competition are derived from mother language teaching materials, regional Southeast Asian rhymes, and multicultural picture books featuring Southeast Asian cultures that have been gathered by the city. Students can get an understanding of multiculturalism via the competition.
