The National Immigration Agency planned to launch the New Immigrant Multicultural Talent Training Program from June to September.
However, as Taiwan enters the community transmission stage of COVID-19, the program is postponed. NIA will follow the prevention measures launched by the CECC.
The rescheduled dates are not decided yet; any further information will be announced later on.

This year(2021), New Immigrant Multicultural Talent Training Program provides eight training courses in partnership with Providence University and other Incubation Centers in seven universities.

Starting from June to September, the courses will include preliminary and advanced training classes. There are eight courses, 28 training hours in total. The course is completely free.

For the preliminary course applicant requirement, new immigrants and children of new immigrants have to be over 20 years old and need an education diploma above high school (include). And for the advanced course, people have to pass the preliminary course or interpreter training by relevant government agencies or legal private organizations.
