Kaohsiung Tourism Bureau Director Gao Minlin stated that Kaohsiung is "delicious, fun, and great value for money," making it a must-visit for domestic and international travelers to experience the leisurely pace and unique lifestyle of this ocean city. The Michelin Taiwan and Singapore websites respectively recommended this harbor city on June 24 and 28, introducing Kaohsiung's marine charm, Bib Gourmand recommended restaurants and various cuisines, fresh seafood, as well as attractions like Love River and Oyster Bay, and abundant accommodation resources. Kaohsiung has not only been recognized by Michelin but also recommended by the internationally renowned booking website AGODA, ranking as one of the top eight best-value travel destinations in Asia, and the only city in Taiwan to make the list. This city, rich with mountain, sea, river, and port tourism resources, blends various culinary cultures and boasts strong culinary prowess, developing a unique and charming flavor. Currently, Kaohsiung has 60 Michelin-starred, Bib Gourmand, and selected restaurants, delighting both domestic and international tourists. The Yellow Duck Kaohsiung Lantern Festival earlier this year attracted over 9 million domestic and international visitors, generating 14 billion in economic value, with the highest online buzz nationwide.
