The Nantou County Government has combined new immigrant business service units with the NIA Nantou County Service Center and launched a new immigrant joint service mobile counter at the Puli Household Registration Office to provide employment, education, and medical care consulting services for new immigrants. In order for new immigrants to offer thoughtful services, interpreters are available on-site for immediate translation.

According to the Director of Civil Affairs Office for Nantou County Government, the integration of the county's social labor office, education office, civil affairs office, police station, and health bureau is very inconvenient because Nantou County is relatively large and it is difficult for new immigrants to travel to and from different townships and cities. Beginning in July, NIA Nantou County Service Center's five business-related units opened a mobile service counter for new immigrants. They then went in turn to Puli, Zhushan, Jiji, and Renai to serve four household registration offices.

The director of NIA Nantou County Service Center emphasized that the mobile service counter's counseling services include social welfare, employment, vocational training, medical subsidies, etc. Additionally, they provide new immigrants counseling about entry, exit, stay, and residential services. On-site interpreters are available. so that those who are in need among the new immigrants won't have to travel or be concerned about language barriers.
