The 2024 Taichung Heritage Day is set to be a lively event, bringing citizens a brand-new historical adventure experience! This year, the Taichung City Cultural Heritage Department has carefully planned a series of activities themed "Walking Rhetoric: Daily Practice of Cultural Heritage," allowing everyone to fully experience the unique charm of heritage through hearing, touch, sight, taste, and smell. The event will kick off on September 1 with the "Wuqi Old Street Fantasy Journey" and continue until October 27, inviting citizens to immerse themselves in Taichung's historical atmosphere.
This year's Heritage Day event is rich and colorful, featuring activities such as "Roaring Era Music Time," "Filming Heritage with Analog Film," "Archaeological Site Exploration," and hands-on workshops on wood lacquerware, lacquer chopsticks, and rush weaving. There will also be memory walks at Yang House in Shalu and light cultural trips in Shigang, blending fun with deep cultural significance.
In addition to the exciting activities, the Cultural Heritage Department has connected various cultural venues, such as the Lin Mao Yang Residence, Dingjie Police Station, and Taichung Broadcasting Station, allowing citizens to explore the city's cultural treasures and discover Taichung's rich historical stories.Dingjie Police Station.
