In order to assist new immigrants in starting their own enterprises, the Labor Affairs Bureau of Taichung City Government the Association for New Immigrants in Taiwan have teamed together to offer training classes and talks on entrepreneurial exchange activities, including catering, cosmetics, and other micro-entrepreneurship skills.

According to the director of the airs Bureau of Taichung City Government, training sessions for micro-enterprises are held there annually. Operating, pricing, catering, cost control, media marketing, food hygiene and safety, and workplace equality are among the topics covered in the curriculum. Boost new immigrants’’ overall capacity for entrepreneurship.

Every year, up to 100 participants from countries including Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, and others take part in the exchange programs. Many of them have gone on to build successful enterprises and operate shops to fulfill their aspirations.
