NIA Northern District Affairs Brigade of New Taipei City Service Center invited nearly 20 public and private sectors within the jurisdiction of New Taipei City, as well as nearly 20 groups caring for new immigrants, to hold a "New Immigrant Care Network Conference" (新住民關懷網絡會議) in order to improve the welfare and resources of new immigrants. The New Immigrants Learning Center and Immigrant’s Studious Platform (新住民好學平台) are being built with a focus on the life and adaptation learning of new immigrants, and there are several courses available for them to take.

Through the New Immigrants Learning Center and Immigrant's Studious Platform, new immigrants can partake in classes on community education, humanities and native land, Chinese courses, and other subjects to integrate into the living environment more swiftly and efficiently.

Department of Health, New Taipei City Government also offers prenatal health checkup services to new immigrant women who are pregnant if they do not already have health insurance after arriving in Taiwan. Every year, National Immigration Agency chooses the courses that have been most popular throughout the years. This year, practical courses on photographic skills, as well as courses connected to animation and art layout, were added in response to the feedback and requests of new immigrants in order to help them improve their practical experience.

NIA also established a1990 special line to offer consulting services to foreign nationals residing in Taiwan. There are a total of seven language services available in Taiwan, including Chinese, English, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai, and Cambodian. One can call the hotline for advice on any issues.
