The Wan An Exercises for this year will take place from July 24 to July 27. North, Central, South, and Eastern Outlying Islands will be its four divisions. The procedure will take place that day from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. When you hear the air defense sirens, you should escape to the closest location under the direction of the police and civil defense officers. The public will be penalized between NT$30,000 and NT$150,000 if they disobey the exercise control restrictions.

What requires special emphasis is that in the Wan An Exercises before, the drivers just needed to park on the side of the road when they heard the air defense siren, and the driver and passengers did not need to get out of the vehicle.

However, the driver and passengers must get out of the vehicle and attend the evacuation facilities, such as the air defense evacuation, in addition to parking on the side of the road for the Wan An Exercises this year.

According to Taipei Metro and Taichung Mass Rapid Transit Corporation, the MRT cars will continue to run normally throughout the Wan An Exercises, however passengers who get off the train won't be able to leave the station until the alarm is turned off. Additionally, it is required that passengers not linger at the entry or leave. The doors, windows, and lights will be shut, and the Taipei Children's Amusement Park’s entertainment facilities will also be halted, so are the MRT retail stores, underground malls, and Taipei Arena.
