The "Dad's Pregnancy and Parenting Health Education Manual" will be released by the Health Promotion Administration, Ministry of Health and Welfare on February 1st.

During the prenatal checkup, expectant mothers can receive the "Pregnant Women's Health Handbook" and "Dad's Handbook" at the same time to help expecting fathers learn the knowledge and skills needed in the process of birthing a new life, together through the physical and mental changes during pregnancy, establish the preparation of raising the next generation.

"Dad's Handbook" is a comprehensive and useful guide written from the father's point of view. There are nine main themes in it. It covers everything fathers need to be aware of or get ready for, from conception to delivery, as well as ways to ease the partner's pregnancy. discomfort, what to do during childbirth, newborn care advice, how to comfort a crying baby, how to cope with the pressures of parenthood, etc. Additionally, it offers a QR code so that fathers don't have to waste time looking for pertinent parenting materials, and there are even safety measures for getting ready for the next child.

To assist fathers with self-examination and reminders, the "Dad's Handbook" also provides a variety of self-examination forms, such as the handling of household tasks form, the baby's safe sleeping environment examination form, the baby-care capacity examination form, etc.
