This has also improved her English language skills gradually. Not only travel, but Chen also loves to immerse herself in the cooking sessions. This is therefore she signed up for the "Cooking Guide" course at the New Immigrants Family Service Center in Hsinchu City. The physical courses are changed into virtual ones online due to the COVID-19 outbreak, and she always pays attention during the class by noting down ingredients and steps in Chinese.

“The Philosophy of my life is doing your best & being responsible and serious,” she says.

Chen also mentions, “I learned driving to pick up my daughter every day and I worked hard to provide her better education opportunities.” She is still improving herself by signing up courses she is interested in. She learns, enjoys her life, and serves a support teaching stuff for new immigrants, enabling more new immigrant children to understand Indonesian cultures.

Lastly, Chen recommends that if there is an opportunity to travel to Indonesia, you can arrange a trip to Java Island which is rich in historical cultures and full of cultural monuments and palaces.

She also revealed that she is currently planning to start a business and set up an Indonesian snack bar, so that more Taiwanese friends can have a taste of the Indonesian gourmet food.
