There are many appointments for Moderna vaccines in Taipei City and the city is still short of about 1,000 vials of vaccines. Taipei City has applied with the central government for an emergency allocation. Therefore, the Moderna vaccine is not available for walk-ins, and the supply is reserved and prioritized for those with appointments. The BNT vaccine has 21,000 doses and the Medigen vaccines also have plenty of supply. Those who are eligible for the third dose (interval of 12 weeks and at least 18 years old) should be vaccinated as soon as possible from February 4 to 6.
