EVA Air announced that a new destination will be added in the Philippines starting from March 30, 2023. It will provide one daily flight service from Taipei to Clark and reservations will be accepted from now on. With next year's summer schedule, there will be three daily flights from Taipei to Manila, and one flight a day from Taipei to Cebu, EVA Air will fly to the Philippines 35 times a week, providing tourists and transit passengers with more options.
Clark is located in the northwest of Angeles City, Pampanga Province, Philippines. It was originally the Clark Air Force Base of the US Air Force after it was demolished and returned to the Philippines government, an economic and trade development zone rebuilt. The local security is good, and the scenery is beautiful. In addition to the high economic development, the pleasant climate and the many resorts have also boosted the development of local tourism.
In Clark, tourists can enjoy in light aircraft flight experience, Zip Line trapeze, cave exploration, island hopping, snorkeling, sea walk, surfing and other water activities which Americans and Europeans are fond of. EVA Air intended to open for navigation to Clark, an internationally renowned tourist attraction, more than two years ago, but it was delayed due to the epidemic, and now it has finally come true.
Flight BR233 from Taipei to Clark departs at 9:00 am and arrives at 11:00 am every day; flight BR234 from Clark to Taipei departs at 12:00 noon and arrives at 2:00 pm daily.
