Free Vocational Training videos in 5 languages available to new immigrants!

According to the 4wayvoice, in accordance with the “10-Year Vision” policy launched recently, the New Taipei City vocational training center has specially created “Online learning courses” for new immigrants. There are 20 units in total including “Exotic snack entrepreneurship”, and “store service staff”, etc.

From now on, the videos will premiere on Education, Sports and Culture Channel of the Chinese Television System Inc. (CTS) every Monday to Friday at 3 p.m. Moreover, the videos will be available on “New Taipei City Labor Cloud / Vocational Training” with subtitles in 5 languages, including Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, English, and Chinese. Besides, the videos can be viewed on mobile phones, computers, and TVs.

Director of Labor Affairs Bureau - Chen Rui Jia (陳瑞嘉) said that the newly planned “Exotic snack entrepreneurship” course includes every step of making exquisite Nanyang cuisine. The dishes demonstrated include Thai green curry chicken, Vietnamese cold rice noodles, Indonesian Padang beef, and Filipino Adobo chicken, and 6 others more.

In addition, the “store service staff” course arranges customer service, checkout operations, store hygiene and other units. In particular, through the on-site operation of personnel, the actual counter operation screen is presented, which can help new immigrants master the tips for the "Technician for Chain Store Service" examination.

The audio-visual learning courses are in 4 major themes, including “Level C technician for beauty”, “Level C Chinese cuisine cookery”, “Digital Marketing”, and “Store Operation Management”.
