New Taipei City's 2025 Youth Rent Subsidy Program will open for applications from 9:00 AM on October 1, 2024, to 5:00 PM on December 31, 2025. The program targets youth aged 18 to under 40 who are single, newly married, or raising minor children (including unborn children). Applicants must be registered residents, students, or employed in New Taipei City. Eligible individuals can apply online or by mail.

The Urban and Rural Development Bureau stated that this year's annual household income cap has been raised from NT$1.33 million to NT$1.37 million, and the monthly per capita income limit for family members has increased from NT$56,000 to NT$57,400. Applicants must meet one of the following criteria: single, married for less than two years, or raising minor children (including unborn children). Additionally, financial and rental property requirements must comply with regulations.

The subsidy amounts are categorized as follows:

  • Single Youth: NT$3,500 per month
  • Newly Married Youth: NT$4,500 per month
  • Youth with Minor Children: NT$5,000 for one child, NT$6,000 for two children, and NT$7,000 for three or more children per month.

Applications can be submitted online or by mail. The online application portal is available at (https://nths.ntpc.gov.tw/FC), and paper forms can be downloaded from (https://gov.tw/GJV). For more details, visit the Urban and Rural Development Bureau's official website.

With the application period lasting a full year, eligible youth are encouraged to seize the opportunity and apply to ease their rental burden.
