The government is promoting the “Carefree Covid-19 Vaccination Program” that encourages foreign nationals, including undocumented migrant workers and overstayers to receive free vaccination.
A large-scale vaccination site was set up at the main hall of Taipei Main Station from December 5 to 12, 2021, and individuals can get a PX Mart voucher worth NT$100 after vaccination. Undocumented migrant workers and the public have actively come forward to get vaccinated.
Until Saturday afternoon, December 11, the National Immigration Agency (NIA) has accepted a total of 2,355 consultation cases at Taipei Main Station, including 1,464 UI No. registration that successfully assisted foreign nationals in getting vaccinated.
