When DOE talks about the "123 Agreement," it means the Agreement for Cooperation Concerning Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy.

According to the government, the agreement would allow for nuclear energy collaboration between the two nations, which might be used to initiatives pertaining to health and agriculture.

In addition to using nuclear power to fight climate change, according to PH-US nuclear energy deal to be used in peaceful agri, health projects - DOE | Global News (inquirer.net), DOE Secretary Raphael Lotilla says that the new Agreement allows collaboration in a wide range of additional peaceful uses of atomic energy, all of which are supportive of different Sustainable Development Goals.

Plant breeding, animal production, insect pest control, soil and crop management, water usage efficiency, plastic waste disposal, food safety, health, and medicine, according to DOE Secretary Raphael Lotilla, will all benefit from the agreement.
