To help Taiwanese companies find outstanding talents, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA, 外交部), in collaboration with the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA, 外貿協會) and manpower banks (人力銀行), recently organized the "Online Talent Matching Meeting between Countries with Diplomatic Relations and Emerging Markets." Students looking for jobs only need to prepare their resumes. The matching platform will provide overseas and Taiwan work or internship opportunities, to allow students from South America, Africa and the Middle East stay in Taiwan for internships or return to their home countries to work in Taiwanese companies.

Amon Bazongo from Africa said that since graduating from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (陽明交通大學), he worked in energy companies and software companies, and at the same time ran innovative communities with friends and founded a software company in Africa. With the experience of "studying in Taiwan", he put the results of his studies and his experience of working in Taiwan into African healthcare services and started an AI smart medical entrepreneurship project. He recommends foreign students in Taiwan to first try to find employment in Taiwan. Having overseas work experience and personal connections are all useful for future career development.

Martha, from South America, who started her business in Taiwan, said that she got the business idea because of her love of sweets and the diversity of Taiwan’s cuisines, and her desserts are loved by many customers. While in Taiwan, Martha studied at Ming Chuan University (銘傳大學) International Business and Trade Research Institute (國際貿易研究所). Martha founded a dessert brand called the "Sweet Tooth by Martha".
