Euli Perez, a female traveler from the Philippines, misplaced her phone while visiting Taiwan. Thankfully, someone discovered it and sent it straight away to the Taichung Police Station. Euli Perez was unable to recover the stolen phone since she had already left for the Philippines. When the police learnt about it, they offered to use an international express service to deliver the passenger's cellphone back to the Philippines. Euli Perez was touched and sent a letter of thanks to the Taichung City Government as a result.
A traveler from the Philippines named Euli Perez misplaced her phone while roaming in Taichung's Shalu District, according to the police. When it was discovered, it was delivered right away to the police station. The passenger's family was also notified by the police via Facebook, but they learned that the traveler was scheduled to leave Taiwan the next morning.

The Perez family gave the police the traveler’s address in the Philippines, and the police promised to transfer the traveler’s phone there through international delivery. In order to thank the police and the residents of Taichung City after the traveler Euli Perez got the cellphone at her house, she specifically expressed appreciation in a letter to the Taichung City Government and the nice Taiwanese.
