New Immigrant Languages Advisory Group of Hsinchu builds a society with diversity & inclusion together with students

In cooperation with IC Voice FM97.5【New Students Report For Sharing -We are in Taiwan】, a series of exciting stories about new immigrants in Taiwan is launched. This episode invites two teachers of the “New Immigrant Languages Advisory Group of Hsinchu (ILAG-HC)”, including the Director of Academic Affairs of TTPS – Chen Ying Ying (陳瑩穎), and the Head of Teaching Group of TMPS – Chen Zhi Yin (陳芷茵). The guests shared about Hsinchu City's efforts to promote language remedial classes for immigrants.

The Advisory Group enabled students to understand multilingualism and cultural differences. Furthermore, it is hoped that besides education, the importance of multiculturalism can be passed down to the next generation.

Lastly, the two recommended the song “love let me know (愛讓我知道)” which cares about immigrants in Taiwan. The song is sung by Biung Wang and Irene Luo, as well as immigrants from Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia, etc., expressing the diversity & inclusion of Taiwanese society in their mother tongues.
