The Taipei City Employment Service Office (commonly known as the Employment Service Office) has launched the "Migrant Worker Multicultural Integration Activities," which are highly popular among citizens. The August event, "South Wind Water Play|Shilin Xinjie Waterway Taste-Seeking Tour," takes participants on exploring Shilin's historic streets, introduces the local waterways and cultural landmarks, and offers a taste of local delicacies. This in-depth travel experience combines history, culture, and cuisine.

The Employment Service Office focuses on promoting migrant worker multicultural integration, with activities held annually that receive enthusiastic responses. Whether they are migrant workers from abroad, new residents who have settled in Taipei, or native-born citizens, everyone finds resonance in these activities. Under the guidance of professional instructors, participants can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of foreign cultures, alleviating homesickness and bridging the gap between people of different nationalities.

Director Chen Kun-Hung of the Employment Service Office stated that he hopes these activities provide locals with opportunities to understand the cultures of migrant workers' home countries while helping migrant workers better recognize the cultural and living aspects of their current city. These activities not only promote cultural exchange but also enhance social harmony and integration.
