Everyone is Responsible for Reporting Bribery of Elections

The 15th President and Vice President and the 10th legislative election is scheduled to be held on 11 January 2020. The Agency Against Corruption, Ministry of Justice calls on new residents to reject electoral fraud and bravely report the wrongdoing of vote-buying, and crack down on any electoral bribery. The maximum reward is up to 1,500 NTD, and the whistleblowing hotline: 0800-024-099 (press 4 after dialing).

To put an end to electoral bribery, the Ministry of Justice has launched a series of anti-bribery propagandistic videos. Apart from the posters, “Technology checking bribery of the Clouds”, “Reporting electoral fraud is everyone’s responsibility”, and “Reporting electoral fraud is everyone’s responsibility- the chapter of Woodpeckers”, there are also several anti-bribery videos such as “Woodpecker animation”, “Anti-bribery elections”, “Anti-bribery elections- the chapter of Visions”, “Anti-bribery elections- the chapter of Turning”, “Anti-bribery elections- the chapter of Protection”, and “Anti-bribery elections- the chapter of Encryption” …etc. To make anti-bribery propaganda deep into people’s hearts, the videos are available in various languages such as Mandarin, Taiwanese and, Hakka.

The Agency Against Corruption, Ministry of Justice further cooperates with the National Immigration Agency to launch multilingual anti-bribery posters which include Chinese, English, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, Japanese, and Korean.

It is hoped that the idea of ​​cracking down on electoral fraud can also be conveyed to the new residents in Taiwan who have the right to vote, and everyone’s responsible for reporting any wrongdoing of elections.
