LaLa Hsu (Hsu Chia-ying), a Taiwanese singer, was invited by World Vision Taiwan to serve as the face of the organization's "1000 GIRLS" (資助1000女孩) campaign this year. LaLa Hsu undertook an eight-day care trip that took her deep into the Ugandan community. In addition to advocating for females, Hsu adopted a Ugandan child and intends to provide her a lot of support. She also wants to utilize her power to better the educational environment for females and draw attention to their rights.

After a 15-hour flight, LaLa Hsu arrived in Uganda, where she saw for herself how many local girls labored hard in the blazing sun and how many young girls were coerced into marriage. Due to poverty, crime, and other issues, it is sometimes impossible for local girls to attend school, which has a significant negative impact on their rights and interests.

LaLa Hsu explained that she is well aware of the fact that as a woman, one would encounter several obstacles and problems along the way to growing up. She was extremely shocked and concerned when she saw the position that the local females were in. She claimed that if people don't offer assistance to them to better their life, this unfortunate condition will persist.

LaLa Hsu aspires to encourage improvements in the local environment with the aid of World Vision Taiwan, correcting parents' perceptions and developing girls' abilities. She mentioned that World Vision Taiwan has established regional sewing courses where girls may gain experience using sewing machines.

By telling her experiences, LaLa Hsu draws attention to the rights of girls throughout the world and uses education to ensure that they can have secure and fulfilling lives.
