A Japanese internet user recently posted on social media about seeing an adorable "Beware of Cats" traffic sign in Houtong, New Taipei City, warning drivers to slow down since cats are frequently spotted in the region. The post stimulated great discussion on social media in Japan with some Japanses netizens even commented that they had seen several intriguing traffic signs in Taiwan in addition to cats.

The traffic sign, according to the Japanese internet user dou4hua1 was the most adorable traffic sign he has ever seen.

In addition, the tweet sparked a lot of discussion, and several internet users shared Taiwanese traffic signs. Apart from cats, several "Beware of Animals" road signs featuring monkeys, cows, and stone tigers may be found in different parts of the country. Several Japanese internet users who visited Taiwan Island reported seeing warning signs like "Beware of bats, butterflies, crabs, and owls."
