Taiwanese actor from Turkey supports Taiwan to be included in WHO

As the Wuhan coronavirus spreads globally, Rifat, a Taiwanese actor from Turkey, expressed his support for Taiwan's participation in the World Health Organization (WHO) and introduced Taiwan's current situation and medical system in his mother tongue.

Rifat, from Turkey, came to Taiwan for studying 13 years ago, married a Taiwanese woman, and obtained an identity card of the R.O.C. He loves Taiwan and often introduces Taiwan to the world through filming or posting on social media to speak for Taiwan. Recently, due to the rise in the Wuhan pneumonia epidemic, Rifat once again spoke for Taiwan and introduced Taiwan's current situation in his mother tongue.

Rifat stated on his Facebook page that many Turkish people including his sister messaged him and worried about him since the outbreak of the Wuhan coronavirus. Therefore, he decided to film a video to introduce Taiwan's current situation to all Turkish people and his family to let them understand why Taiwan should be included in the WHO. Taiwan has advanced medical technology and services, so Rifat hoped more international strengths can together speak for Taiwan.
