This year&rsquos Qingming Festival holiday (April 3&ndash6, 2025) spans four days. The Freeway Bureau expects a significant amount of traffic for tomb-sweeping and travel, and will implement ramp metering and traffic control measures to ease congestion at bottlenecks during peak hours.
If travelers cannot avoid peak periods, the bureau recommends using 11 alternative routes (4 for long-distance, 7 for short-distance) to bypass congested sections and avoid queueing at interchange entrances, saving valuable travel time.
