Taking into consideration the current pandemic situation and the need of manpower in Taiwan, the Taiwan government allows the entry of foreign workers from November 11, with epidemic prevention measures implemented.

Furthermore, Indonesia's holistic preparations for epidemic prevention and its commitment to strictly supervise the implementation of epidemic prevention measures by foreign agencies, the Taiwanese government agreed to open the border to the first batch of Indonesian migrant workers.

In addition, to alleviate the burden on both employers and employees, and together with the urgent needs, the validity of the Indonesian migrant workers’ visas that have expired before May 4 this year will be automatically extended to May 31, 2022.
