Taipei City’s Last Free Health Examination for Migrant Workers on 8th December at Taipei Main Station

Taipei City Foreign and Disabled Labor Office and Tzu Chi International Medical Association show their concern for the migrant workers’ health and will be holding the last activity “Love for the World: Volunteer Clinic and Health Care for Migrant Workers” at the space between West Gate 1 to North Gate 3 inside Taipei Main Station.

The event will start at 1 p.m. and end at 4 p.m. Tzu Chi International Medical Association, Taipei City Hospital, and School of Oral Hygiene of Taipei Medical University will provide various health examinations including measurement of height, weight, blood pressure, blood glucose, eye and oral examinations, and dental treatment and health consultation services including Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Dentistry, internal medicine, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Mental Health Clinic, and traditional medicine (traditional Chinese medicine), there are also other related services such as free haircuts for migrant workers on that day.

Taipei City Foreign and Disabled Labor Office will be continuing to hold “Love for the World: Volunteer Clinic and Health Care for Migrant Workers” and welcomes people who are interested to participate in this activity. People are encouraged to invite their migrant worker friends to participate together and to show their care for workers’ health.
