Miaoli Animal Protection and Education Park, known as Miaoshou, is not just a shelter for dogs and cats but a home filled with love and hope. Every furry friend here receives meticulous care, with veterinarians regularly performing health check-ups, deworming, vaccinations, and spaying or neutering surgeries. The park's pet grooming room is where volunteers and staff help bathe and groom the dogs, helping them adapt to new lives more quickly, increasing their chances of adoption, and finding a loving home.
The park’s pet food and canned food mainly come from joint supply contracts through the "Government Electronic Procurement Network." However, the fixed flavors of this food often fail to meet the diverse needs of the pets. Fortunately, there are often donations from kind-hearted individuals, public representatives, and companies like Hill's Pet Nutrition and Pet Park Pet Store, providing a variety of nutritious supplies. These donations not only enhance the pets' quality of life but also embody the spirit of corporate social responsibility (CSR).
On the Animal Protection and Quarantine Office website, the dedicated section for the protection and shelter department publishes a "Record of Received Donations" monthly, detailing the usage of donations. This transparency ensures that all contributions are utilized for the pets, giving donors peace of mind and encouraging more people to join this compassionate action.Kind-hearted individuals donate supplies for dogs and cats, adding more food and love. Miaoshou is not just a sanctuary for pets but also a recreational spot for the public. The Chaoyang Pet Park within the area boasts vast grassy fields and green spaces, making it a great destination for family outings. Children can run around while the pets play freely. Visitors can enjoy their holidays and also adopt a beloved dog or cat, giving them a forever home.
Adopt, don't shop. Let every dog and cat have a home. Miaoli Animal Protection and Education Park looks forward to your participation in creating a happy future for these lovely pets.
