The "2024 Taoyuan Halloween City - Prankster Academy" will be held from October 26 to November 3 at the Taoyuan Arts and Culture Plaza. On the opening day, several famous singers will be invited to perform, creating a lively atmosphere.
The opening concert "Happy Taoyuan - Musical Extravaganza" will be co-hosted by the queen of music festival hosting, Yuan Yuan, and Mars Bad Duo. The performance will kick off at 5:30 p.m. with the young Mandarin music group J Hall, with a mystery guest handing out limited-edition opening gifts. At 6 p.m., GX, GuGu Lu Siwei, Hsiao Bing-Chih, Tsao Ya-Wen, U:NUS, FEniX, Mars Bad Duo, Qiu Yu Le, Qiu Jun, and Olympic gold medalist Wang Chi-Lin will take the stage, bringing four hours of exciting performances that will immerse the audience in the joyful Halloween atmosphere.

Prankster Academy Interactive Experience
The venue will be transformed into a Prankster Academy, encouraging attendees to dress up and hop on the "Prankster School Bus" to explore themed academies, including "Foolish Academy," "Trickster Academy," "Mischief Academy," "Blabbermouth Academy," and "Halloween Elementary School." Hidden art installations will invite attendees to get creative, hone their trickster skills, and enjoy the fun with family and friends.
Non-stop Exciting Activities
On October 27, the event will kick off at 1 p.m. with the "Creative Public Halloween Art" and continue at 3 p.m. with the traditional "Mischievous Ghost Costume Contest." At 5 p.m., the Wahaha Theatre Group and costume contest participants will lead the "Halloween Parade." The second weekend features family-friendly idol groups YOYO Family (November 2) and Robocar Poli (November 3), offering a unique parent-child experience.
On the night of November 2, DJ Cookie and MC Johnny Jin will host the Halloween JUMP electronic music party. On November 3, the Hip Hop Halloween, in collaboration with X-Plus World Creation, will feature six hip-hop artists, including MC Yao Zong and Sunny & Welly, bringing the event to a spectacular close.

Convenient Transportation and Accommodation Packages
To make it easier for visitors, Taoyuan hotel businesses are offering accommodation discounts, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the Halloween celebration in Taoyuan. Additionally, the city government, in collaboration with six major brands, is launching the "2024 Taoyuan Q Nice Trip! Go FunZone!" campaign to encourage spending in Taoyuan.
During the event, free shuttle buses will be provided on weekends, running every 20 minutes from the "Xin Yonghe Market Parking Lot" and "Taoyuan Train Station Back Station." Riders will receive limited-edition Halloween gifts. Motorcyclists can park for free at Tong An Elementary School and Tong De Elementary School. If nearby parking lots are full, the city government will implement flexible control measures and redirect vehicles. Drivers are advised to follow instructions and be mindful of pedestrian safety.
Taoyuan Halloween City will open from October 26 to November 3, with weekday hours from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and weekend hours from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to dress up and enjoy the event.
