The 2nd "Artisan's Dream" National Cultural and Creative Craft Competition, organized by the Hsinchu County Cultural Foundation, has attracted 120 entries from 15 counties and cities across Taiwan. Among them, Taichung City submitted the most entries, followed by Hsinchu County, New Taipei City, Taipei City, and Tainan City. The jury has selected 31 entries to advance to the finals, and the evaluation process is currently in full swing. The final results will be announced soon, with a grand award ceremony scheduled for November by the Hsinchu County Cultural Bureau. In the preliminary round, the jury selected 31 entries to advance to the final. Hsinchu County Magistrate Yang Wen-ke noted that the number of submissions this year has increased by 30% compared to last year, with the entries integrating more innovation and practicality into their craft foundations. This competition not only showcases the creators' passion for craftsmanship but also guides them to make their works more applicable to everyday life. Winners will have the opportunity to collaborate with the Foundation's "Day-to-Day Good" cultural and creative brand to produce and promote their works, bringing them to market.

Cultural Bureau Director Chang Tsung-yao pointed out that many creators still lack sufficient understanding of cost analysis and market demand. To address this, the Foundation plans to offer related courses to help artists acquire business knowledge and further promote the development of the cultural and creative industry.

The Hsinchu County Cultural Foundation announced that the award ceremony for the "2nd Artisan's Dream" will be held in November, and the winning works will be exhibited at the Hsinchu County Cultural Bureau Art Museum from November 13 to December 1. Art enthusiasts are encouraged to visit and support the sustainable development of Taiwan's art and cultural creative industries.
