Penny Cox, the Director of Carousell, further pointed out that second-hand trade of fashion items has continued to grow rapidly since this year when the Asian region is tremendously affected by the pandemic, and this is especially true in the category of women's clothing. Since mid-May of this year, the number of views of the women's clothing category increased by 99%, and the number of items that go off the shelf increased by 41%.

The survey unit pointed out that fashion items are the category that Taiwan users are willing to trade the most, including buyers accounting for 52% of the total second-hand goods and sellers accounting for 62%.
