Kaohsiung - Losing wallet, Vietnamese new resident got helped by Kaohsiung police

At 1 pm on June 25, a Vietnamese new resident woman arrived at the No. 2 Police Station at Wufu Road of the Kaohsiung Police Department, claiming that she had left her wallet on a motor transportation. She was very worried about how to contact the bus driver. In the end, she decided to ask for the police’s help.

The Vietnamese new resident woman whose name was Janie said, she took G-bus motor transportation to the vicinity of Xinjuejiang. She had personal documents and a NT$2,000 cash in her wallet. It would be troublesome for her if the documents coud not be found. The police officer contacted the main terminal of G-bus transportation company immediately after understanding her situation. After asking for the wallet information, they were informed that another passenger found the missing wallet and reported to the transportation company’s manager. Not only did the police officer explain the whole situation that the women felt relief. The police officers also enthusiastically showed her the direction to the bus terminal and searched if any bus would go to that terminal.

Janice was very grateful to the police’s help. She originally wanted to go shopping, but she was anxious of not finding her wallet. Without mobile phone at the same time, she had no choice but to report to the police. She did not expect the police would solve her case so quickly. The police officers expressed that they only do their best and reminded the woman to be more careful next time.
