The Executive Yuan's TPASS monthly pass plan's NT$299 monthly pass for city transit in Tainan officially went on sale, making it the first physical ticket card in the nation. Although the selling time is 11:00 am, individuals began lining up at 7:00 am on the day, and approximately 500 tickets were sold in the first five hours. The second round of sales, which will start on June 15 and include an additional 8,000 monthly passes, will also be available for pre-order at major convenience stores starting on June 30.

A total of 2,000 monthly passes were initially prepared at two selected railway stations, according to the Bureau of Transportation, Tainan City Government. However, because too many people hurried to purchase them, an extra 1,000 monthly permits were hastily supplied to the stations. A further 8,000 monthly tickets will be made available, and 37 district offices as well as Tainan, Madou, Xinying, and Guanmiao Transfer Station will serve as sales locations.

The NT$399 monthly pass includes Taiwan Railways, NT$999 monthly pass, cross-border Kaohsiung, Pingtung, and other plans to open up affordable public transportation will be launched in July, in addition to the NT$299 monthly pass covering Tainan buses, sightseeing buses, Demand Responsive Transit System (小黃公車), and YouBike public bicycles.
