Q: How should new residents apply for a family income and property list?
A:
(I)Please provide the following documents and visit the nearest National Tax Bureau branch, tax office, or service center’s full-function counter for application:
● For those with a National ID card:
(i) The applicant's original National ID card.
(ii) National ID cards for spouse and adult family members within the same household.
(iii) To inquire about property and income information for minor children, the applicant must provide the legal guardian’s National ID and proof of relationship with the minor if no ID card is available for the minor.
(iv) Authorization letter (for inquiries on behalf of a spouse, adult family members, or when the applicant is not the person directly applying).
(v) Consent form (applicable when inquiring about minor children).
(vi) Agent’s original National ID card (if the application is submitted by a representative).
● For those with a residence permit only:
In addition to presenting the applicant’s original residence permit, the requirements are similar to items (ii) through (vi) above. If the representative also holds only a residence permit, they must provide the original residence permit for verification.

(II)Online Application Option:
Through the Ministry of Finance Tax Portal (https://www.etax.nat.gov.tw) > Online Services > e-Tax Documents > Online Application, applicants may log in with their NHI card, Citizen Digital Certificate, or Mobile Citizen Digital Certificate.
